Small but perfectly formed this half ovoid bowl, originally an ashtray,is by sommerso pioneer Antonio da Ros for the renowned glass firm Gino Cenedese in the 1960s and is signed “Cenedese” to the base. The cobalt blue centre, aqua green sommserso layers, and half egg shape makes it a wonderful and intriguing object for any modern tablescape.
