Our layby program allows clients to acquire their favourite items and pay them off over time. At the end of their layby period, you can either collect your item from Michael Reid OBJECT, or we can organise shipping.

With layby, you can have peace of mind of knowing the you have secured your favourite item with no additional hidden costs (no set-up fees, interest or early payment fees). A Layby also means you do not have to arrange storage of your new purchase until it is ready to be collected or delivered.

Layby’s are especially popular for the purchase of birthday, wedding, graduation and Christmas gifts, as they allow the purchaser to easily hide the gift from the recipient without having to make room in cupboards and run the risk of damaging their new precious OBJECT.

OBJECT layby runs for 8 weeks (or up to 12 weeks for multiple purchases), and requires only a 20% deposit to secure the purchase and commence the layby. Hassle free payments via either credit card, bank transfer or visiting the gallery are available, taking the stress out of the entire purchase process. We are also happy to accommodate special requests where possible, including for a longer layby period to coincide with a specific date.
