This December, Michael Reid Studio Direct presents two emerging female artists, with 2 very unique takes on painting Australian landscapes.

CLARE PURSER is a Queensland-based artist, who begins her work by exploring and immersing herself in a place. Most recently she has taken part in art residencies at Stradbroke Island in Moreton Bay and on Bribie Island in the north of the bay.

EMILY PERSSON is a Melbourne based artist coming from multiple generations of painters who still uses the same palette knife as her great grandmother. In July of 2019, Emily was invited to be a part of a gallery group exhibition in Sag Harbor, New York.
