The venerable 18th century firm of Wedgwood always continues to adapt to modern tastes and this urn shaped vase was designed in the 1930s by works manager Norman Wilson. This vase featured the Moonstone white glaze which is a satin or eggshell finish that subtly highlights the pared back neo-classical simplicity of the form.

Owing more to the Art Deco period, this low urn is subtly reeded with a pair of loop handles.
